LOVE FOR BEGINNERS // 情書

My dearest,

Birthdays are wonderful things. Celebrations, cakes, candles, those sort of stuff. What better way to signal the passing of another year than to ring it in with one’s best friends? It’s all about the noise, surely?

The birthday boy

But birthday boy, you are the quiet type; not a chatterbox, not you. No need for so much noise when you’re so full of charm. Happiness can be a slow thing, no need to rush. Not when everyone’s busy sending you their heartfelt regards and best wishes. It’s a great time to be alive. Every year that passes just brings so much more.

You grin, and the whole world melts at your feet. As I do.

Yours, ever and always.
