LOVE FOR BEGINNERS // 情書

My dearest,

We seem to have most of our adventures inside some café or another:

“And what coffee would you like?” our server asks us.

“I’ll have the Nekisse, that tasty coffee I had last week,” I reply.

“I’m sorry but we’re all out of that.”

“What? Really?”

“Yes, I’m afraid our barista had the last cup.”

I steal a look at the barista. She smiles sweetly at me and mimes how delicious that last cup was. I give her an evil eye. She smiles back even more sweetly.

Then we both burst out in laughter.

The only thing better than a great cup of coffee is a funny barista running a fabulous café. I didn’t get to have my Nekisse today but I’m blessed anyway.

Who needs coffee when I have you?

Yours, ever and always.
