My dearest,

This morning you asked me to help put on your ring for you after we forgot to wear our wedding bands yesterday. We take them off every night before bed and sometimes, very rarely, we forget to put them back on the next day.

And I hold your hand in mine, and I slide your ring onto your finger and you do the same for me.
