We met by chance, we met by acquaintance
We were star-crossed lovers in lives before
We met at the club, I asked you to dance
As I led you to song, we knew we’d never leave the floor.

 
We met at our wedding, by parental promise
An arranged marriage, a perfect match made
We met on the internet, we flirt and we tease
Easier to woo and wonder than to find and fade.

 
We met while hiking, while diving under the seas
Adventure was the taste of danger, of you and me
We met when we almost never met at all
But, then, how would we have known what life had in store?
