My dearest,

The heat is unbearable during the day. In Bangkok and in KL. Where you are and where I am. And then the sudden downpours, lately in the evenings, but unpredictable nonetheless. Crazy weather.

It feels like the end of the world. Climate change. So we have been told.

Yet when we pour over item costings and invoices, debate the merits of this bar stool versus another, consider solar panels for heating our water, it is exhausting but thrilling.

Not the end of the world, then. Maybe the end of this chapter and the fantastic start of another.

There will be weeks and months yet. We have furniture to view, fabric swatches to marvel at. Corral our best friends to help us with the impending move.

It’s the start of another chapter. Life change. The best we know.

Yes, for the best is yet to come for me and you. For us.
