It isn’t fun when we argue —

“You don’t ever change.”

“Most people don’t. It’s not a character flaw. It’s just what it is.”

“Don’t you ever wish though, that…”

“That what? That I could be different? That I was better?”

“That you weren’t so damn impossible.”

“That’s…not possible.”

“I know.”

“There you go.”

“There I go.”

“We don’t ever change.”

“Maybe that’s a good thing.”

“I think it can be.”

“Okay.”

“Come here.”

“Okay.”

— but you have to admit, we’re do a damn fine job of it.
