LOVE FOR BEGINNERS // 情書

My dearest,

The week has been going on and on, never seeming to end. But Friday evening comes and we shudder and we sigh. It is over. Running in circles no more, time to put our heads on one side and seek slow slumber. There are no more puzzles to assemble. It doesn’t matter if the pieces don’t fit – we can rest now and we can sleep.

Let us take this Saturday together, as a blessing and as a boon. A second chance. A small time of grace we have been offered. We can have all moments in this little moment. What shall we do, my dear?

I will take forever. And clasp it to my chest and your hands in mine too. I will cry out to the skies above and you will laugh with me. Our cries, our madness and our follies, all one beautiful, giant sound. We won’t be silenced. One step closer and glide. Here, here. Come to me.

Someday we will always be Saturday night. We will always be dancing in the moonlight. There, there. Come with me.

Yours, ever and always.
