LOVE FOR BEGINNERS // 情書

June 29, 2013

My dearest,

You are snoring in bed beside me, tired from a day of walking, eating, snapping shots of koi in ponds snapping at pieces of bread thrown by old Japanese gentlemen. (The mallards steal half the spoils from these violent, hungry, angry fish.)

Gentle washi crane
Bids us welcome, honoured guests.
Rest. Wake fresh. Explore.

We have been talking and laughing all day. We have been quiet too, content in each other’s company.

Your breathing reminds me my heart beats joyfully.

Yours, ever and always.
