My dearest,

You’ve gotten a new haircut today.

While you were sitting in the barber’s chair, I was sipping a piccolo latte in the café next door. Crumbs from a custard filled doughnut dusting my lips without you to brush them away.

The natural sunlight so beautiful. I thought to myself, it’d be nice to bring you here next time, to take pictures of you, even if you tell me I make your face fatter than it really is in my shots.

There is no joy like the joy of being admonished by you. I wouldn’t be able to stop smiling. I never could.

Yours, ever and always.
